If you’re looking for a truly unique and intimate elopement experience, look no further than the stunning landscapes of Isle of Skye in Scotland. This is precisely what Eden and Matthew from the USA did, and despite the stormy weather that came their way, they had an unforgettable day.

After months of planning and communication via WhatsApp, it was a pleasure to finally meet this sweet couple. They embark on their lifelong adventure and Scotland was their first destination. Despite facing inclement weather from Storm Corrie, the experience was enjoyable and fulfilling for all. I am grateful to have shared this moment with them.

Starting bright and early, we set out to capture the sunrise amidst the gorgeous scenery of fairy glen. After getting ready and exchanging vows in this enchanting location, we continued to explore Fairy Glen before heading off to the equally stunning Quiraing.

Despite the sudden arrival of strong winds and rain, we managed to capture truly stunning shots of the couple amidst the storm. The images are a testament to the beauty of Scotland and the couple’s willingness to embrace adventure, even when the weather is less than ideal.

One of the standout features of this elopement was the level of personal attention given to every detail. As the couple’s photographer, I was heavily involved in planning the day, from recommending florals and suits to purchasing vow booklets. This ensured that every aspect of the day was tailored to the couple’s unique style and preferences.

This elopement was a perfect example of how intimate and special an elopement can be. It was an unforgettable experience for the couple, who sold everything they had in America to embark on their adventure. Scotland was the first stop, and it certainly did not disappoint.
