Capturing the special moments of a couple’s wedding day is a great honour and responsibility. I had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful couple who had an intimate wedding at Edinburgh Old Town. Although the couple did not want me to take photos inside the Chambers, we made the most of the time we had together to capture some beautiful intimate moments.

Before the ceremony, we decided to take the couple portraits around the Edinburgh Old town. It was a beautiful setting that provided a great backdrop for the photos. As a photographer, I understand the importance of time management on a wedding day, and so I helped the couple with their timeline, ensuring that they had enough time to rest before the ceremony and that we had time to capture as much of the location as possible.

When we returned to Edinburgh City Chambers, we took photos of the couple and their witnesses. The couple was so happy and in love, which made it easy for me to capture some beautiful moments. I stayed a little bit longer so we could take some more photos before we parted ways. Overall, it was an incredible experience, and I am grateful for the opportunity to capture the intimate wedding and special moments of this couple’s day here in Edinburgh.

For couples who are planning their intimate wedding, it is important to remember that the timeline is crucial for the success of your day. It is essential to allocate enough time for each part of the day, including taking photos, to ensure that everything runs smoothly. Additionally, it is important to communicate with your photographer and let them know what you want and don’t want to be photographed.

Capturing the special moments of a couple’s intimate wedding day is an honour and responsibility. With proper planning and communication, a photographer can help couples create memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.
